Guana Island

Think paradise, think Guana Island. This 850 acre island is privately owned and accommodates just 32 guests. The exclusivity has helped the tropical forests, mountains, valleys and beaches remain completely unspoilt. Enjoy seven pristine white sand beaches, miles of undisturbed natural beauty, comfortable accommodation and a personal service.

The island is a thriving ecosystem, home to threatened and endangered species like the Caribbean roseate flamingo, the stout rock iguana and the red footed tortoise. Taste fresh papaya, coconut and mango in the orchard and discover a diverse range of tropical fish and coral by snorkelling or diving one of Guana’s own reefs.

Your Stay

Accommodation on Guana Island is in spacious, comfortably furnished Sea View Cottages with private terraces, sprinkled along a scenic ridge with spectacular views of the neighbouring islands. Some have air conditioning and all feature ceiling fans, complimentary WiFi Internet access, hair dryers, coffee machines, iron and ironing board.  Guana has one Seaview Pool Cottage which has all of the above but with the luxury of its own plunge pool and stunning views over Guana Island’s beautiful white sand beach.

For a really private hideaway retreat for two, North Beach Cottage, with its own plunge pool and situated on a stunning white sand beach, offers complete privacy and seclusion.

Dining

Dining on Guana Island is casually elegant, with meals taken on outdoor dining terraces with spectacular sea views. Talented chefs prepare tantalising dishes with freshly caught seafood and organic island-grown fruit and vegetables. The Guana Island chickens provide enough fresh eggs every morning for their guests’ breakfasts!

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea and fruit are included in the cost on Guana Island.

The Spa

Fishing,  Sunset Cruises, Kite-Surfing, SNUBA and SCUBA diving, Castaway Picnics and trips to other islands can be arranged.  Complimentary internet access is available throughout the island.
